Scope and effective date

This Calc.you privacy policy explains how the public website and its browser-based calculators handle information. It is effective August 29, 2026. Calc.you is operated by Calc.you, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Questions or applicable privacy requests may be sent to support@calc.you.

The service is designed around data minimization. Calculator inputs are processed by code running in the visitor’s browser. The application does not require an account, upload calculator values to a Calc.you database, attach those values to analytics events, or maintain a cloud calculation history. Separate network pathways still exist when a browser requests the website or a person voluntarily sends email, so this policy describes each pathway rather than treating every kind of information as the same.

Calculator inputs

Values typed into a calculator—dates, durations, quantities, costs, labels, percentages, and similar fields—remain in ephemeral page state. The service does not use remote calculation APIs, accounts, uploads, advertising trackers, third-party analytics, persistent browser storage, or URL parameters containing calculator values. Reset clears the current tool fields. Closing or navigating away follows ordinary browser memory behavior.

Because the application is not supposed to receive these inputs, Calc.you ordinarily cannot retrieve, correct, export, or delete a past calculation. Visitors should not enter sensitive personal data into optional text labels. Numeric fields can also become sensitive when combined with outside context, so use neutral examples whenever that context is unnecessary.

Calc.you checks the current service against this description. If a future feature transmits or persistently stores calculator inputs, the site will provide a conspicuous explanation, an updated policy, and any consent or control required by applicable law before the feature is enabled.

Website delivery and security metadata

When a browser requests Calc.you, the hosting and network providers must process ordinary technical data to return the page and protect the service. This can include IP address, request time, requested path, response status, user-agent string, referrer header, and security signals. Vercel is the planned hosting provider. Its infrastructure may retain operational logs under its agreements, settings, and legal obligations.

Calc.you does not use operational metadata to build advertising profiles or to join calculator entries with a person. That metadata may be used to deliver the site, detect abuse, diagnose failures, preserve security, and comply with law. Retention is limited by those purposes and the configured provider controls. Host and subprocessor practices also apply, and Calc.you updates this policy if those data paths materially change.

Email and voluntary correspondence

If you contact support@calc.you, the email system processes the sender address, recipients, message, headers, attachments, and subsequent correspondence. We use that information to understand and respond to the request, correct the service, handle a privacy or security matter, maintain appropriate records, and protect legal interests. Do not send credentials, government identifiers, payment-card data, medical files, or complete financial records.

Support correspondence may be retained for the time reasonably needed to resolve and document the issue, meet legal duties, prevent repeated abuse, or establish and defend claims. It may be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, subject to backups and legal holds. Email providers and other service providers process correspondence on our behalf under their own infrastructure and contractual terms.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Calc.you application code does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, localStorage entries, sessionStorage entries, or persistent calculator identifiers. It has no advertising technology or third-party analytics vendor. The separate cookie policy explains this boundary and how visitors can report browser behavior that appears inconsistent with it.

Browser settings, extensions, network intermediaries, or the hosting security layer may behave outside the application code. If an essential security cookie is introduced, its purpose and duration must be documented. If a non-essential cookie or similar technology is proposed, Calc.you must provide the disclosures and choices required for the relevant audience before enabling it.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell calculator inputs or support correspondence. Information that Calc.you actually receives may be disclosed to providers that host, secure, or support the service; to professional advisers under appropriate duties; in a corporate transaction subject to lawful safeguards; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or enforce terms.

Provider access should be limited to the service being supplied. Data can be processed in the United States and other locations used by a provider, where privacy rules may differ. When a transfer mechanism is legally required, the operator and relevant provider are expected to use an appropriate mechanism.

Retention and safeguards

No server-side retention period applies to calculator values that never leave the browser. Operational logs and correspondence have different lifecycles as described above. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to a small static service, but no transmission, device, email account, or hosting system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Visitors share responsibility for device security and for avoiding sensitive values that a calculator does not need. A copied result leaves Calc.you’s local interaction and is then governed by the destination chosen by the visitor.

Choices and rights

Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have rights concerning personal information Calc.you holds, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or appeal. Rights have exceptions and may require identity verification proportionate to the request. Send a concise request to support@calc.you and state the relevant jurisdiction. We will respond as required by applicable law.

If the request concerns a calculator entry that was never transmitted, there may be no operator-held record. If it concerns an email, include enough information to locate the correspondence without sending unnecessary identity documents. A person may also have the right to complain to an appropriate data-protection authority.

Age and changes

Calc.you is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly offer accounts or profiles to children because the service has no accounts. If you believe a child has sent personal information by email, contact us with enough detail to investigate without redistributing the information.

This policy may change when the service, provider configuration, law, or data pathway changes. A revised page will show a new effective date, and material changes will receive an appropriately prominent notice where required.

Frequently asked questions

Does Calc.you receive the numbers I type?

The application calculates them locally and does not transmit them to a Calc.you database or analytics service.

Is an email also local?

No. Email is transmitted through mail providers and is handled as voluntary correspondence under this policy.

Can I request deletion?

You can request deletion of personal information the operator actually holds, subject to applicable law and exceptions. There is no cloud calculator history to delete.
