This Calc.you cookie policy describes cookies and similar browser storage for the public service. It is effective August 29, 2026. Calc.you is operated by Calc.you, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Questions may be sent to support@calc.you.
The short version is that the Calc.you application does not set cookies, localStorage entries, sessionStorage entries, advertising identifiers, analytics identifiers, or persistent calculator history. A visitor can use the calculators without an account or consent banner because no non-essential application storage is active. The longer explanation matters because “cookie-free” can be misunderstood, hosting and security services have separate data paths, and future changes require new disclosures.
What counts as a cookie or similar technology
A cookie is a small value a website or service asks a browser to store and return with later requests. Cookies can keep a session active, remember a preference, balance traffic, prevent abuse, measure visits, or support advertising. Some expire when the browser session ends; others remain until their stated expiry or deletion.
Local storage and session storage are browser features that can retain information without automatically sending it with every request. IndexedDB and cache storage can hold larger structured data. Tracking pixels, device identifiers, and scripts can also recognize activity even when they do not use a traditional cookie. This policy uses “similar technology” broadly so the disclosure is about behavior, not merely a file name.
Ordinary in-memory JavaScript state is different. When you enter dates or numbers and receive a result, the calculator keeps those values only in the live page state needed to perform the interaction. The application does not persist them in browser storage or send them to a server. Reset removes them from the interface. Normal navigation or closing the page ends that in-memory state according to browser behavior.

This table describes the application’s current storage behavior. Calc.you checks a clean browser profile, application storage, response headers, network calls, service workers, and host settings. The public policy will be corrected if observed behavior differs from the description.
Hosting and essential security
Vercel hosts the site. Loading a page necessarily sends a request to hosting infrastructure, as explained in the privacy policy. Static page delivery does not inherently require the Calc.you application to remember a visitor. However, a hosting, content-delivery, or security layer may introduce an essential cookie or comparable signal under a particular configuration—for example, to mitigate abuse.
If an essential technology sets storage on the public service, this page will name it, identify the provider, explain its purpose, state whether it is first- or third-party, and give its duration. It will not be placed in a vague “strictly necessary” bucket without that evidence.
Why calculator inputs are not saved
Persistence can be convenient, but it creates a different privacy and product obligation. A birthday, work schedule, budget category, or savings target may become personal when tied to a device or identity. Calc.you favors a clean reset and a copyable summary over automatic history. That choice reduces the information available to recover after a page closes, but it also reduces the information retained.
For example, enter a $12 monthly subscription and calculate its $144 annual equivalent. The result exists in the visible page. If you reset, the fields return to their defaults. Reloading the page should not restore “$12” from a Calc.you cookie or local storage. If it does, report the route and storage evidence because the behavior and this policy must agree.
A browser may offer its own form autofill or restore a page from its back-forward cache. Those are browser-controlled features rather than a Calc.you account or database. Visitors can manage them through browser settings. Extensions can also read or change pages according to permissions the visitor granted them; Calc.you does not control that behavior.
Email, links, and third-party destinations
Clicking the support email link opens the visitor’s configured mail environment. The mail provider may use cookies or account storage under its own terms. Following a link to another website takes the visitor to a separate service with its own storage choices. Calc.you should label external destinations and does not treat their technologies as part of the local calculator.
The site does not embed advertising, social-media widgets, video players, map widgets, remote audio, or third-party comment systems. Those embeds can create network requests and storage even before a person interacts, so Calc.you will review privacy and cookie effects before adding one.
Browser controls
Most browsers let a person view and delete site data, block some or all cookies, clear storage on exit, or use a private window. Blocking all cookies should not be necessary for Calc.you’s calculators because application functionality does not rely on them. Strict settings can still affect hosting security measures, browser autofill, or external services opened from a link.
Future changes and consent
Calc.you may later consider a preference, saved history, account, analytics, or another feature. None is promised by this page. Before enabling storage, the operator must define its necessity, data fields, provider, duration, access, deletion behavior, and legal basis. Non-essential technologies must remain off until any legally required choice is obtained. Refusing non-essential storage must be as straightforward as accepting it where consent applies.
The effective date will change when this policy materially changes. A later feature will not rely on consent collected for a different purpose, conceal rejection, preselect optional categories, or make an accountless calculator conditional on unrelated tracking.
